Born in Tokyo in 1966, is the CEO of Sushiya no Saito. After training in Edo-mae sushi at a Tokyo sushi restaurant, he was captivated by Hokkaido’s natural beauty and seafood, moving to Sapporo at 20. He joined the renowned Susukino restaurant, Sushiyano Yamada , where he honed his craft under Master Hiroshi Yamada. In 2000, he opened his own sushi restaurant and has continued ever since. I loves good sake.

At Sushiya no Saito, we serve 'Ezo-mae' sushi made from the finest seafood we receive daily. With deep respect and gratitude for our suppliers, markets, and fishmongers across Hokkaido, we craft each piece of sushi with care. Our rice is cooked in a traditional pot, and our fresh wasabi is sourced directly from Utogi, Shizuoka. Please enjoy our sushi in a relaxed and enjoyable way.
